Adams 12 Five Star Schools Bus Pass Program

BUS PASS CARD

 All students, using district transportation to commute to school,  or to home from school are required to have a bus pass card at all times. If your student uses district transportation and currently does not have the required bus pass please contact us at 720-972-4331 or adams12buspass@adams12.org. The bus pass card will be valid for your student as long as your student is enrolled in Adams 12 Five Star Schools. There is no charge for the initial bus pass card.  If your student loses their bus pass card, they must get a replacement to continue to ride the bus. Replacements can only be obtained in person at the Transportation Facility located at 1350 E. 126th Avenue Thornton, CO 80241. The fee for the replacement card is $5.00, and can be purchased between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The only forms of payment that the transportation office can accept are cash, check or money order. No credit cards will be accepted.

Who Gets Charged?

Students who ride the bus one or more times within a month will be assessed a $15.00 monthly fee, with a $30.00 per month maximum per household.  The fees will be assessed to the youngest active student in the family even if he/she does not ride a bus. Students who are enrolled in the National School Free & Reduced Price Lunch program must submit a copy of their letter of eligibility to transportation to be eligible for fee waiver.  Students eligible for transportation as a related service within their IEP will also have their fees waived.

How Do I Pay?

Payments may be made online using the PayForIt online payment system.  Click the PayForIt image above to be taken to their website.  You will have to create an account and attach your student to that account.  Please use the How Do I menu for help with navigation of their site.  You can also make payment by mailing checks or money orders to the Transportation Facility (address listed above). Checks should be made out to Adams 12 Five Star Schools. Payments can also be submitted in person at the Transportation Facility between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Bus drivers cannot process payments for Transportation fees or replacement bus pass card fees. Transportation fees are non-refundable. All bus students are subject to the Adams 12 Five Star Schools policies, violation of any of these policies may result in the loss of transportation privileges.
